As an International Non-Governmental Organization dedicated to pushing child rights, Educo Philippines crafted new approaches to continue instilling to the minds of the children their rights to live a life of dignity.

As Typhoon Pepito (international name: Man-Yi) approaches the Philippines, Educo has activated its Emergency Response Team days before the said natural hazard land falls on the country, an announcement made by the organization's Humanitarian Action sector.

"Where do I start?" It was a question that cannot be heard but visible enough on the faces of the teachers whose schools were submerged in ceiling-high floods during the ravage of Severe Tropical Storm Kristine (international name: Trami) in Bicol last October 23, 2024. They tried their best to rise from the severity of the floods . . . but were able to do such only a week after.

The Graphic Designer's will develop visually engaging and informative graphical content to support the completion of branding and the development of communication materials outlined to be delivered under the thematic areas of EDUCO's program in close collaboration with Communication and Advocacy Officer.

In an effort to strengthen child protection mechanisms within sponsorship program areas, a comprehensive three-day training was conducted for 47 Supreme Secondary Learners Government (SSLG) Officers and 46 Parent Representatives from the twelve partner schools in Albay and Sorsogon area last September 20-22, 2024 at Hotel St. Ellis, Legazpi City.

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Resource Mobilization and Grants Specialist is a vital contributor to the growth and impact of Educo Philippines. This role is focused on strategically positioning the organization within the donor landscape and working closely with a cross-functional team of technical specialists. The Specialist leads the design of high-quality, evidence-based proposals that align with Educo’s country programmatic framework and meet donor requirements. Additionally, the Resource Mobilization and Grants Specialist is responsible for identifying new funding opportunities in both development and humanitarian action, advancing pre-positioning efforts, and driving the development of impactful research projects and initiatives. Through strategic opportunity identification and the creation of well-crafted concepts, programs, and proposals, this position plays a key role in helping Educo respond to evolving community needs and achieve lasting, sustainable change.

The Finance and Administration Assistant performs an integral role within the Finance Team, providing administrative support along with clerical task in facility administration, fleet management, general affairs and document administration. The position works closely with Operations Department for general office management and supply management. The Finance and Administration Assistant reports to the Finance and Administration Manager.

Every space children occupy equates their right for protection, whether it be their home or school, their well-being must be the paramount priority of whomever they deal with.
